TIME Picks Top Ten 2007

TIME has picked their top ten video games of 2007. I don’t know if I would really regard them as the authority on gaming, but whatever. It’s pretty much the list you’d expect, all the biggies are there, I think. I love this comment about Halo 3: “The epic storyline and the stirring score don’t hurt either.” I liked Halo 3 and all, but I missed the whole “epic storyline” part. I forgot God of War 2 came out this year, it seems so long ago. Here’s the whole list:

  2. The Orange Box
  3. Rock Band
  4. Super Mario Galaxy
  5. BioShock
  6. Call of Duty 4
  7. Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
  8. Mass Effect
  9. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
  10. God of War 2

    I think gamers are dicks. Rippin on the epic story of halo or rippin on times covering games. People should be happy they get a halo game at all or that time even wastes its time covering games. I played halo three and I didn’t have a problem with the story. I am not saying it was amazing, but epic it was. What isn’t epic about saving the planet. Thats all it takes for something to be epic. When was the last time someone saved the world and nobody thought it was epic. I would say next to sitting around smashing buttons on a controller anything is epic. I AM EPIC.

    I just try to be positive. I knew you were gonna say something. I agree with all opinions. But its the xmas Holiday, I stand for good will, peace, and love. If everyone was like me there would be group hugs all over the place. Are you Haloing friday night? or saturday night?
