Barkley Shut Up and Jam: Gaiden

Finally, an RPG starring Charles Barkley. Set in 2041 (Barkley would be how old then?), in a post apocolyptic future where basketball has been outlawed, Barkley sets out to “escape from his past” and find a home for his son.

If you can’t slam with the best, jam with the rest.

I don’t get what is going on. This is nuts. You know what else is nuts. The Giants Superbowl win. AMAZING.

A quote I came across today:

Hey Mom, I Got You that New James Patterson Video Game
James Patterson’s Women’s Murder Club series will be turned into video games aimed at the “casual games market” (which apparently focuses on women and middle-aged people). The games will be created for PCs, online play, cell phones, and potentially the Wii system.

Patterson says, “The casual games market is right where I am, with about 70 percent of my readers and their players being female. A lot of people who read my books may think they don’t like games, and we can reach that audience for the first time.” Plus: “It strikes me that the videogame area is an incredibly lucrative niche market, one populated by a small number of boys – and grown-up boys – who like to shoot things and spend a lot of money. But that excludes most of the universe.”
