Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey has everything I want in a Shin Megami Tensei game: demons, lots of demons. I can’t wait to negotiate with demons, only to use them to kill other demons.

Capcom has released a whole batch of screenshots for their upcoming Mega Man Zero Collection. The game is a collection of all four Mega Man ZERO titles bundled together. The games were previously released on the GameBoy Advance.

Atlus has pusehd back the North American release of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey to March 23 (Nintendo announced it as March 10 yesterday). The good news is that each copy of the game will come with a soundtrack. I’m so confused, I don’t know if I should be mad or happy. Or both at the same time.
Pretty interesting list of games. I think I’m most looking forward to Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey from Atlus on the DS (March 10). Capcom also has some pretty good games coming: Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom on Wii, Phoenix Wright on WiiWare, Ace Attorney Investigations on DS, and Mega Man 10, the sequel to the download-only Mega Man 9.

Today we have launched the full site for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, the newest title in the Ace Attorney series for the Nintendo DS coming in February 2010.
Fans of the Ace Attorney series can check out new character bios, screen shots, trailers, developer’s diary with the first blog by producer, Eshiro-san and more. Fans can also download wallpapers for their desktops of this upcoming title featuring Phoenix Wright’s famed rival, Miles Edgworth.

Happy investigating and have a great weekend!
Capcom announced at the Tokyo Game Show that Sengoku BASARA Samurai Heroes and Ghost Trick are both coming to North America. Ghost Trick looks pretty interesting, it’s a mystery adventure written by Shu Takumi (the main writer for the Ace Attorney series) and produced by Hironobu Takeshita (Mega Man 9). I’ve never heard of the Sengoku BASARA Samurai Heroes series before, though, should be interesting to hear more details.

The sequel to Capcom’s Okami, Okamiden will be coming to the DS next year. Gameplay will be similar to the PS2 version, players will draw out characters with the in-game brush, this time using the DS’s touch screen. Okamiden is currently set for a 2010 release in Japan, no word on a North American release (or anywhere else, for that matter).
Level 5 revealed there newest title today for the DS, Fantasy Life. Graphically it looks similiar to Mother 3, mostly because Brownie Brown, who worked with HAL on the game, are developing Fantasy Life. Interestingly, Nobuo Uematsu is doing the soundtrack, and he also did the soundtrack for Mother 3. Even more intriguing is the premise of the game, or lack thereof. The goal in the game is to “to live”, making it seem like an RPG, Animal Crossing mix. You begin the game by choosing your name, gender, appearance, and occupation. There are about 20 different occupations, including dancer, miner and treasure hunter. Each day you get new quests depending on your job. Sounds pretty interesting, I can’t wait to see what lies in store for the dancer career. It also sounds like the perfect game for Robert, he’s always just trying to “live his life.”
The DS will be getting a new Shin Megami Tensei game, entitled Strange Journey. The story seems to focus around a team sent to investigate the Sout Pole, which is covered in a “mysterious matter.” The main character oddly looks like someone out of Dead Space.
Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey is scheduled for an October 8th release date in Japan and is priced at ¥6,279 (about $67, which is insane). As of yet, there is no word on a U.S. release, but knowing Atlus they’ll probably bring the game over.
