Right before Mass Effect came out I started getting really excited about the game. I had watched all the trailers I could find, read everything that was out there, and it seemed like this was going to be a great game play experience. The Tuesday it came out I picked up the game and couldn’t wait to get home from work to play it. What could go wrong with a Bioware RPG, right?
After playing the game for a few days I’ve completely stopped. I can’t pick it up anymore, all the “little things” wrong with the game had started to add up, and I just wasn’t having fun playing it. I’ve heard the good out weights the bad, but for me it was the opposite.

Yeah, I said it. See, in Japan, Nintendo has this awesome program called Club Nintendo. Members of Club Nintendo get all kinds of cool gifts we never see in the U.S. This year, Club Nintendo is offering three really nice gifts: a Club Nintendo desk calendar (just skip the calendar, it’s not the awesome part), a two-disc Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack (awesome), and a Classic controller, for Wii VC console games, shaped like a SNES controller (radical).

I’ve been trying to think of the one time I got the most scared while playing a video game. I had bad dreams about Zelda II when I was little, one of the skeletons actually killed me in the dream, which was freaky, but that doesn’t count. Also, I have a fear of deep ocean water, so riding around on the boat in The Wind Waker scared me when one of those things popped up out of the water. That doesn’t really count, either.
