I love this collector’s edition trend in video games. It’s like the developers are thinking “Well…if we have a collector’s edition, people will think it’s a good game…let’s throw in some art book or some crap.” Unfortunately , I buy into it every single time. I don’t care what it is, as long as the game case says “Collector’s Edition” on it somewhere, I’ll shell out that extra $10.
Konami announced today that Metal Gear Solid 4 has been delayed. The announcement was made in a press release on their Japanese website. I think I want to get a PS3 now, more then ever. I used to play actual card games like this, and the idea of it being combined with the video game aspect is pretty interesting. I love the 3D view card profile, how awesome is that? I so want to get this game.
Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction arrives in stores today, and along with it a little, tiny bug. According to Insomniac:
“We recently discovered a bug on the US version of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction that some of you may encounter the first time you boot the game,” Insomniac community manager James Stevenson told Shacknews. “With specific amounts of free space on your drive, you may see a screen that tells you have insufficient space to create game data even though there is plenty of free space on your drive.”
