G.I. JOE: The Rise of Cobra is basically like the movie but a video game, I think. And now there’s an awesome EA website for the game, here.
The only G.I. JOE action figure I remember owning is this girl with a hot pink shirt on. I think that’s really weird, it’s like buying 4-LOM as your one and only Star Wars action figure, why? I feel like I should have gotten someone like Lady Jaye or Baroness or whatever, not some random hot pink shirt girl. Let me search for “hot pink shirt g.i. joe” and see if I can figure out her name…
Ok, her name is Zarana, luckily she’s in the top 5 G.I. JOE babes list (why?):
Zarana’s look was a straddle between punk, new wave and lesbian chic, which is a lot to handle when you’re a kid. But her character’s “filecard” (the cardboard piece attached to the plastic casing holding the figurine) depicted Zarana in a low cut shirt displaying a hefty chest and cleavage which made it the raciest file card, by far.
I don’t understand why young me would:
a) Not choose another action figure like Snake Eyes or Destro.
b) Of all girls choose the “punk, new wave and lesbian chic” girl.
As COBRA unleashes its deadliest plot yet, the G.I. JOE TEAM is counting on YOU to lead the counterattack. Every mission is critical – and so is every G.I. JOE. Your hand-picked team of heroes must battle COBRA organization’s deadliest bosses as you snake your way through enemy territory.
