Nintendo has announced their rewards for Club Nintendo gold and platinum members. Basically, certain Nintendo games and systems can be registered at the site, and you gain coins each time you register something. You can also gain additional coins by filling out surveys about those games/systems. Once you’ve amassed enough coins you gain gold or platinum status.
Platinum members get their choice between a Mario hat (it’s a life-size hat you can wear around town) and Doc Louis’s Punch-Out!!, a downloadable version of Punch-Out!! that allows you to fight Doc Louis one-on-one (it basically just seems like a downloadable demo, you don’t need the full game of Punch-Out!! and you only get to fight Doc Louis). Gold members get an Animal Crossing calender. Rewards will be delivered by November 1, 2009.
