Front Mission 2: Remake Coming in June

Forever Entertainment has announced the worldwide release of Front Mission 2: Remake for the Nintendo Switch on June 12th, 2023. It is a remake of the second game in the Front Mission mecha tactical RPG series, initially released for PlayStation in Japan in 1997.

The remake will include improved loading speeds, a new free camera option, new Wanzer coloring options, and a refreshed soundtrack. It will also have language options in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Polish, Chinese, and Japanese.

The story of Front Mission 2 follows the perspectives of three characters: Ash, Lisa, and Thomas. It is set twelve years after the first Front Mission in an alternate future where mechas called wanzers are the primary tools of conflict. The game centers around the People’s Republic of Alordesh, which, following severe economic decline, rise up and declare independence from the Ocean Cooperative Union.

Forever Entertainment previously released Front Mission 1st: Remake, with a remake of Front Mission 3 also in development. With such improvements and the long-awaited English fans, Front Mission 2: Remake is sure to excite fans of the series.
