Capcom and game producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi have released a playable demo called the “Chainsaw Demo” for the upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake. The demo is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
Players can download the demo and play it as many times as they want without being limited by a timer. It is set in the opening sequence of the game, where Leon S. Kennedy must fight off a mob of villagers that have been infected by Plagas. Players can hone their skills by fighting off the chainsaw-wielding antagonist.
The demo’s description states that it is a “specially tuned version of the game’s opening sequence,” making it the ideal place to get familiar with the game ahead of its March 23rd launch. Those who are interested can download the demo now from the PlayStation Store, Steam, and Xbox Games Store.
