The Hatching-tide event for Final Fantasy XIV, inspired by Easter and spring, is set to begin on March 27, 2023, as announced by Square Enix. The annual event is known for its eggs and seasonal activities, and this year’s rewards include a Tonberry-themed costume, a Frighten emote, and various cosmetic items. In order to participate, players must stop by Old Gridania and speak with Jihli Aliapoh at a specific location, and they can earn items such as the Pa-Paya Demastered Orchestrion Roll and Hippity-hoppity Hatching-tide Advertisement Wall-mounted Furnishing.
Additionally, some past items will be available to obtain in-game. Four rewards were offered at last year’s Hatching-tide event, including the “Eat Egg” emote and a Hatchling Sifter item. The event is a fun way for players to enjoy in-game festivities and earn unique items.
