Atlus has announced that the Persona 5 series made a significant achievement, having sold 10 million units worldwide. In appreciation of the milestone, Shigenori Soejima, the series character designer, created a piece of art featuring characters Joker and Morgana expressing gratitude to fans for their support. As part of the celebration, Atlus released a series of winter commercials for Persona with Haruna Kawaguchi and Jun Shison, famous Japanese actors, as ambassadors, showcasing scenes from various urban scenarios as Persona 5 songs like “Aria of the Soul”, “Rivers in the Desert”, and “Throw Away Your Mask” play in the background. The ads use the slogan “Persona is Another Me”, intended to promote different games in the series.

The commercials include promotion activities for the recently released Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Tactica and a forthcoming remake of the original PS2 title, Persona 3 Reload. You can view these promotional images and new commercials from Atlus on their official platforms. They capture some of the most scenic views and landscapes from the game, showing off its high level of detail and the progression of the series over various installments.

The Persona 5 series began with the launch of the original Persona 5 game on September 15, 2016, in Japan, followed by a global release on April 4, 2017, for the PS3 and PS4 consoles. The franchise then branched into the rhythm spin-off Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight and the highly praised Persona 5 Royal remake in 2019. The series further expanded with two additional spin-offs named ‘Persona 5 Strikers’ in 2020 and ‘Persona 5 Tactica’ in 2023, available across multiple platforms including Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
