In a recent interview with 4Gamer, Eiji Ishida from Atlus hinted at an upcoming game that is still undergoing development, with no release date announced. As the director of known games like Soul Hackers 2, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, and Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey, his statement created excitement, though the year for the reveal remains uncertain. Ishida revealed that both he and a yet-unnamed director are striving to finish the game and are looking forward to unveiling it to their audience.

In the conversation with 4Gamer, Ishida also acknowledge his admiration for Risk of Rain 2, admitting the title he played the most in 2023 did not even release that year, but its high quality had him hooked. He goes on to mention Blue Eye Samurai as the most impactful media from 2023, stating its creatively designed backgrounds clearly resulted from in-depth research.

No further details have been given as to what to expect from the unrevealed Atlus game, leaving fans in suspense for the future. Meanwhile, Soul Hackers 2 continues to be available on platforms including PS4, PS5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
