Hi-Rez Studios and Titan Forge Games have announced a sequel to the popular multiplayer online battle action game, SMITE 2, soon to be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. Although the release date remains undisclosed, registration for the alpha test is currently open on the official website. The latest edition of the game, powered by Unreal Engine 5, invites players to participate in an engaging universe packed with mythology, strategy, and action.
The key features of SMITE 2 include an array of gods to choose from, boasting unique abilities for a personalized gaming experience. Described as a third-person action MOBA, SMITE 2 offers combat scenarios reminiscent of hero-shooter games combined with the strategy of five-versus-five battles. The game is designed to be compatible with various platforms, featuring full cross-play and cross-progression, allowing players to seamlessly enjoy the game across devices.
SMITE 2 also offers an evolved, accessible gaming experience. Its gameplay is easy to learn yet complex to master, catering to players of all levels. Rewards await previous SMITE players through cross-gen skins, badges, and Legacy Gems after linking their old SMITE account.
