Binary Haze Interactive and developers Adglobe & Livewire have unveiled Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist, a sequel to Ender Lilies: Quietus of the Knights. Set to be released on the Nintendo Switch in 2024, the game occurs several decades after the ‘Rain of Death.’ Players control Lilac, an ‘Attuner’ with abilities to purify those affected by the insanity-causing fumes. Lilac can acquire new skills through defeating corrupted bosses and level up in aspects like attack strength, HP, and armor.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist follows a new tale in the Land of Fumes, where mysterious powers are hidden beneath the land’s surface. The kingdom’s ambition for conquest resulted in the creation of the Homunculi, artificial life forms programmed to carry out the king’s wishes. An unexpectedly disastrous resource-extraction mission caused harmful vapors to rise from the ground, driving both man and machine to wild madness. Lilac, with the help of friendly machines and spirits, sets out on a quest to save the kingdom from the transformed Homonculi, increasing her combat abilities and enhancing her survival odds along the way.

Ender Magnolia: Bloom in the Mist allows exploration to uncover relics and fragments of the story. Players can enhance Lilac’s abilities by collecting and trading gold for upgraded items. The atmospheric setting is enhanced by an original soundtrack, available for purchase at launch, from returning musical group Mili. Hiroyuki Kobayashi, CEO of Binary Haze Interactive, notes the company’s excitement to announce the sequel and encourages fans to stay tuned for future developments.
