Forza Horizon 5 is injecting fresh excitement into the game’s atmosphere by incorporating dinosaurs into its line-up of features. In its major Eurotrip update, the Horizon Festival is surprisingly filled with European vehicles, including swanky Bentleys paired with vintage AMG Hammer wagons, among others. The striking element of this update is the inclusion of dinosaur props, offering added uniqueness to the custom tracks already present in the Horizon franchise.
In addition to the prehistoric creatures, Forza Horizon 5’s EventLab 2.0 content creation kit is gaining new props. These additions include 25 ramps and platforms, 40 different shapes in concrete and plastic variants, six dinosaur props, and a Star Trophy gameplay prop. Moreover, with a focus on European car makers this season, players will unlock various coveted vehicles over the coming weeks, ranging from a 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro to a 1966 Volkswagen Double Cab Pick-Up.
Despite the Eurotrip excitement, some fans are expressing concerns. This update, like many previous ones, is time-sensitive, granting players only one week to unlock newly added cars. These time-limited unlocks might never be released again in the future. The Eurotrip release also includes a new vehicle DLC pack, separate from the premium edition of the game and priced at $4.99. These cars are not included in the time-limited edition and can’t be unlocked for free. However, the dinosaur props are free and permanent, counterbalancing some fan concerns.
