GameScent, a new AI-powered device, is set to revolutionize gaming experience by introducing scent dispersal related to different gaming scenes. Enhancing video game immersion, it analyzes the game in real time and disperses fitting aromas from its atomizer that holds six scents at once. This cutting-edge device is compatible with all gaming and streaming platforms, including VR. By tapping into the sense of smell which studies show strongly imprints in long-term memory, GameScent’s goal is to make gaming experiences more thrilling and memorable.
The GameScent package includes a variety of aromas and an adapter with the atomizer. Typical scents range from forest for nature scenes to racing and gunfire for more intense gaming moments. The adapter also has a feature for neutralizing room odors. Four other upcoming scents including blood, ocean, sports arena, and fresh cut grass, are also designed to complement various gaming environments.
The GameScent kit can be purchased at select retailers and is available for demonstration at PAX East. With a price tag of $179.99, the kit is currently on sale at Amazon for $149.99. Further catering for gamers, additional easy-to-refill cartridges will be available separately.
