Fans are excited about an upcoming crossover event between Magic: The Gathering Outlaws of Thunder Junction and Cowboy Bebop. The MTG Outlaws of Thunder Junction launched in mid-April 2024, and news of the crossover was revealed allowing enthusiasts to gain early access to some exclusive MTG items. To get the limited-edition crossover product, customers must purchase sealed Magic: The Gathering products from WPN stores worth 3,000 Yen from April 26, 2024, to March 31, 2025, which will include postcards with the event trailer’s artwork, with a chance to win exclusive playmats or card sleeves.
However, this exciting crossover is currently Japan-exclusive. The MTG products must be purchased from several local Japanese stores, which do not have an online purchase option. Although Amazon Japan and Rakuten Books, which are listed among these local stores, do not ship directly outside Japan, certain services can facilitate this, but their legitimacy remains unconfirmed.
According to the event’s official website, only 1,000 customers can win a limited edition playmat or card sleeve. Purchases over 3,000 Yen will include postcards, but only 1,000 lucky customers will have a chance at obtaining some of the rarest and most coveted items in the history of Magic: The Gathering.
