2024 has provided a plethora of excellent games, not least of which is the unique and graphically impressive Unicorn Overlord. Created by Vanillaware, the makers of the praised 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Unicorn Overlord is a high-fantasy epic filled with intrigue, sorcery, and engaging characters. Its elegant collector’s edition, complete with a Unicorn Overlord card game and other bonus features, is currently available with a discount on Amazon for Xbox customers.
Despite its usual retail price of $130, the Xbox Series X version of the Unicorn Overlord collector’s edition is currently available for $111.79, a 14% discount. Although the discount isn’t steep, it’s a considerable saving compared to the elusive Nintendo Switch version, which is commanding elevated prices on the resale market. The collector’s edition offers a host of perks, including the base game, a collectible slipcase box, an art book, a two-CD collection of 16-bit music, a 239-card game, and a DLC voucher.
Critically, Unicorn Overlord has been met with glowing reviews. Its captivating visuals, thanks to Vanillaware’s celebrated 2D art, creates a detailed and enchanting fantasy world.
