G-Mode recently announced the Japanese release of “Persona 3 Aegis: The First Mission” for the Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, slated for June 6. This implies a shift in release tactics for the company, as their previous port “Revelations: Persona Side Story – Otherworldly Tower Arc” had a staggered release with the Nintendo Switch version coming first followed by the PC version on Steam two weeks later.

“Persona 3 Aegis,” originally a Java game for Japanese feature phones, centers on the narrative of the character more commonly known as Aigis in the English adaptation. The game takes place at the Kirijo Ergonomics Institute on Yakushima Island in 1999, a full decade prior to the main events of “Persona 3”.

More content regarding “Persona 3 Aegis: The First Mission” can be found in previous coverage. Even though the English fact sheet is accessible on Steam, the game will only display Japanese subtitles as of the current plans.
