The roguelike game, Hades 2, has recently received an update making several weapons more efficient and powerful. Heavy attacks with the Moonstone Axe are now faster, potentially making this once sluggish weapon more playable. Other weapons such as the Umbral Flames, the Sister Blades, and the Argent Skull have also received enhancements. For instance, the Umbral Flames are now faster and stronger, and the Sister Blades can now stagger foes for longer. The Witch’s Staff has been simplified; its special knocks adversaries back but now operates slightly slower.

In addition to weapon enhancements, the recent update has also made significant changes to the Daedalus Hammer; a number of its upgrades have been replaced with new ones. Specifically, six upgrades were removed and replaced with eight new ones, affecting mostly the Witch’s Staff and the Umbral Flames. Gamers may experience a considerable difference when using these weapons. An example of a new upgrade for the Staff is the Mirrored Thrasher, which allows for double attacks but with the trade-off of taking more damage.

Furthermore, the patch includes various other updates including tweaked enemy behaviors and necessary fixes to the menus. Alongside these adjustments, the game has added more dialogue options for confiding in the pet frog, Frinos, in certain contexts. Despite these changes seeming minimal individually, collectively they make a significant impact on gameplay.
