In 2021, Saber Interactive announced a video game based on the “A Quiet Place” film series, now officially introduced as A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead. The atmospheric horror game, crafted by Stormind Games and Saber, is expected to be available in 2024. The game intends to emulate the films’ strategy of keeping quiet to elude alien detection. The game will be accessible on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead offers an original narrative inspired by the film series rather than a retelling of A Quiet Place and its sequel. Players will portray a young survivor navigating a terrifying post-apocalyptic world. In an earlier announcement in 2021, Saber revealed its collaboration with iLLOGIKA and EP1T0ME for a game based on A Quiet Place. However, it is uncertain if The Road Ahead is that same project.
The film series continues with prequel Day One hitting theaters soon, followed by A Quiet Place 3, a continuation from A Quiet Place Part 2. The series was conceived by writers Scott Beck and Bryan Woods and gained momentum when The Office star John Krasinski joined as co-writer and director.
