Bandai Namco has introduced a new free-to-play Dragon Ball Z multi-player online battle arena (MOBA) game called Dragon Ball Project: Multi. Developed by Ganbarion, the game features 4v4 battles where players need to leverage their heroes’ unique abilities to win, including characters such as Goku, Vegeta, Future Trunks, and series villains like Cooler, Zamasu, and Vermoud. The game will be available on Google Play, The App Store, and Steam, and a regional beta test is scheduled to run from August 20 to September 3.
Like other MOBA games, Dragon Ball Project: Multi requires players to dominate enemy objectives by assembling diverse teams composed of tanks, support, and damage characters. In addition, the game provides customization options, such as swapping skins, and modifying entrance and finisher animations. It’s worth noting that the game is facilitated mainly through online matches, requiring players to have an internet connection to participate.
The Dragon Ball fanbase seems to be witnessing a revival with the forthcoming return of the Budokai series in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. Dragon Ball Project: Multi may potentially serve as an exciting new platform for players to test their Z-fighter battle skills, as it is set to be released around nine weeks prior to Sparking! Zero’s launch on October 11.
