Grinding Gear Games has announced an Early Access release of its free-to-play action RPG, Path of Exile 2. The pre-release version will be available from November 15, 2024, on multiple platforms that include PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This sequel will function independently from the original Path of Exile game; still, any cosmetic purchases from either game can be applied to both.
Path of Exile 2 promises an exciting journey featuring a brand new six-act main storyline. The game is set to unfold in 100 unique environments, alongside a total of 600 monsters and 100 bosses for players to encounter. It also introduces twelve starting character classes – two per combination of Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. Players will have the flexibility to adjust their character builds and incorporate skills from different classes.
Additionally, Path of Exile 2 introduces a fresh endgame with over 100 intriguing maps to explore. The game, developed by Grinding Gear Games, could be a substantial addition to the free-to-play action RPG genre.
