Valve has officially revealed its new game, Deadlock, which is currently in semi-private testing. The game, presented as a 6v6 MOBA hero shooter still in early development, blends third-person shooter mechanics with MOBA elements such as attacking enemy objectives, demolishing defenses, buying upgrades and leading minions across lanes. Its store page on Valve’s platform went live recently, stimulating a significant increase in player figures from around 25,000 to over 75,000.

Even in the absence of an official announcement, Deadlock somehow became an open secret with gamers actively streaming it. This suggests that the game has been in the public domain for some time, albeit unofficially.

Currently, Deadlock is featured on its official store page complete with a small teaser trailer and an option for players to add it to their wishlist. However, Valve has not yet announced a release date for the game.
