The Release of Demonschool Is Postponed Yet Again to Q1 2025

Ysbryd Games and Necrosoft Games revealed that their upcoming turn-based tactics RPG, Demonschool, will be postponed until the first quarter of 2025. The decision to postpone the originally scheduled release on September 13 was necessitated by the need for extended development time, with the aim of enriching the game’s content. This marks the second delay for Demonschool, which was previously pushed back from a proposed release in November 2023 to Q2 of 2024.

In an elaborate statement, Necrosoft Games expressed its regret for the delay, stating that zest to maintain the envisaged content integrity prompted the change in the release schedule. The developers had an option to either ship the game in its current state or delay the release to 2025 to facilitate the execution of their broader vision for the game. In their collaboration with Ysbryd, the second option was considered to be most beneficial to their audience who have been keenly tracking the game’s progress.

In gratitude for the patience of the fans, Necrosoft Games has pledged to frequently update them on the game’s development progress through video and written ‘dev diaries’ until launch. The first of these engagement initiatives is now available and provides insights about Demonschool’s Burn status ailment. Upon release, the game will be accessible on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic.
