Serenity Forge and Freebird Games have announced plans to release the role-playing game (RPG) “To the Moon” on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Despite the announcement, a release date has yet to be determined. Currently, the game is available for Switch, iOS, Android through publisher XD, and for PC via Steam through Freebird Games.
“To the Moon” follows the intriguing story of Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts, two peculiar doctors who have the ability to give people another chance to live through their memories. This operation is only performed on people at the end of their lives, allowing them to live out their unfulfilled wishes. The story centers on their attempt to make the final dream of an elderly man, Johnny, come true.
The key features of the game include its unique, non-combat, story-driven experience, an innovative blend of adventure game elements and classic RPG aesthetics. Additionally, it boasts an acclaimed original soundtrack closely linked to its narrative, and an “espresso execution” that promises no fillers and no time drains.
