Takara Tomy is set to launch mini fashionable rings inspired by popular demons from the Shin Megami Tensei series in late September 2024. Available via gacha machines at a cost of 300 JPY ($2.10) per try, there are five distinct variations – Jack Frost, Jack-o’-Lantern, Black Frost, Decarabia, and Chironnupu. These 30mm rings each feature the head of the respective demon.
It appears there won’t be an option to purchase a full box set of the rings, requiring buyers interested in a specific design to participate in real-life gacha. Notable demons featured on the rings include Jack Frost, a series mascot, and Decarabia, which ranked 7th in an Atlus popularity poll in 2017 for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux.
The youngest addition to the series, Chironnupu, is also included, thanks to its traditionally ‘cute’ design with a fox mask and small body. The Shin Megami Tensei rings will be released in Japan starting from late September 2024.
