Humble Games and Dead Mage have announced that Wizard of Legend II, a roguelike action game, will debut as an Early Access game on PC via Steam on October 3. The Early Access version will allow for two-player cooperative play, and when it fully launches, the final two biomes and four-player cooperative play will be included. The game revolves around the wizards’ quest in the Floating Lands to obtain the Chalice of Immortality by using Arcana’s elemental powers and conquering changing rogue-lite challenges.
In the game, wizards from around the globe partake in a dangerous quest to prove their worth. Only wizards who have truly harnessed the elemental forces will have a shot at achieving the coveted Wizard of Legend status. Wizard of Legend II, the sequel to the acclaimed original game, offers a new series of unpredictable trials, enabling players to utilize familiar and new Arcana and experiment with spell combinations. The game presents a multiplayer online co-op of up to four players and refined 3D visuals.
The early access version of the game comprises enhanced 3D visuals, cooperative magic, a wide array of elemental powers, and endless replayability due to its roguelite structure. Feedback from the Steam Next Fest demo inspired the shift to Early Access and is aimed at fine-tuning the game based on community input. Players get to navigate a continuously changing gauntlet created by Hieronymus, Lanova’s top wizard, and come across a variety of trials administered by the enigmatic wizard council.
