Atlus West recently revealed the results of their demon navigator poll for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The poll was conducted to decide which new demons will be featured as navigators in an upcoming game update. The Western users voted for Mothman, Idun, and Fionn mac Cumhaill, while the Japanese players voted for Mara, Cleopatra, and Hell Biker. These six demons will be added to the game, expanding the current roster of demon navigators.
The final ranking showed some discrepancies in the positioning of Mothman and Idun, but this was attributed to varying regional opinions. Mothman, with its distinctive adorable design, was warmly received, particularly by Western fans. Conversely, Mara’s victory in the Japanese vote was influenced by the demon’s unique aesthetic.
Demon navigators are helpful characters in Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. They are specialists in locating certain items and assisting in combat encounters, with the option to switch navigators to match players’ specific needs.
