The “Tour de Inferno,” version 1.2 update for Zenless Zone Zero is set to release on September 25, developer miHoYo announced. The upgraded version will witness proxies in New Eridu venturing into the desolate Outer Ring, engaging in motorcycle adventures with characters like Caesar, Burnice from Sons of Calydon, along with other entertaining features like a brand-new arcade game “Bizarre Brigade”. This upgraded version aims to offer an improved gaming experience with optimizations for the TV mode, squad preset, time, and stamina systems.
The Outer Ring, a barren yet fuel-rich location outside downtown New Eridu, sets the main narrative of the forthcoming chapter. Proxies will join the Sons of Calydon for a face-off against rival group, The Vanquishers, and Overlord Pompey. Also, players can explore New Eridu as characters Caesar and Burnice. The Sons of Calydon, active participants in the Outer Ring, operate a logistics firm called “Leaps and Bounds” and transport resources through Hollows, with S-Rank Physical Defense Agent Caesar and S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice able to offer substantial damage and defensive aids to allies.
Beyond these updates, Zenless Zone Zero will enhance several in-game features to facilitate a smoother gaming experience starting from Version 1.2. Necessary upgrades include auto-acquisition of all Observation Data and rewards, more improved and swifter TV board animations, unlimited freedom to change time, and a provision of a Backup Battery Charge. The game is available for PlayStation 5 via PlayStation Store, PC via client download and Epic Games Store, iOS via App Store, and Android via Google Play.
