Clear your calendars; the anticipated second season of Castlevania Nocturne will debut on Netflix in January 2025. The upcoming season chronicles the adventures of Richter Belmont and his team of vampire hunters, inclusive of the legendary Alucard, as they race against time in battling the seemingly invincible Erzsebet Báthory – the Vampire Messiah who covets the immense power of the goddess Sekhmet to shroud the world in eternal darkness and terror.
The trailer suggests that the plot has not yet ventured into the Symphony of the Night chapter and Dracula is still yet to surface in the series, which in their view, might be a deliberate move by the showrunners to underscore that a gripping Castlevania narrative does not always require Dracula.
