Although Rockstar has yet to formally announce a PC version of Red Dead Redemption, recent leaks suggest it may not be far off. Notably, Twitter user TezFunz2 disclosed that Rockstar seemingly unintentionally included metadata for the first Red Dead Redemption game on PC within its new launcher update. Furthermore, the game apparently featured on Steam’s database, hinting at the possibility of it also being released on that platform.

Speculation regarding a PC port was further fuelled by alleged screenshots posted by TezFunz2, seemingly extracted from a Rockstar launcher file that contained a description of the game. Other leaks advised about a potential PC release include an Epic Games Store database leak and a brief reference on PlayStation Network.

The Red Dead Redemption game, originally launched for Xbox 360 and PS3 decades back in 2010, was revamped for modern platforms such as Switch and PS4 in 2023. Its successor was launched on PC in 2019. Given this trend, a PC version of the original game now seems highly anticipated.
