April 2025 will mark a significant moment in the world of gaming history. In honor of the 30th Anniversary of the renowned Tales of series, Bandai Namco has planned an exclusive art exhibit slated to launch in Tokyo and Osaka. This event will be infused with the essence of the upcoming Tales of 30th Anniversary Art Collection book, a release that, for now, is known to be scheduled exclusively for Japan.

The commemorative exhibition will make its initial debut at the Yurakucho Marui store located in Tokyo. From the 4th of April to the 20th, fans will have the opportunity to be immersed in artistry that encapsulates the Tales of series. Following this, the exhibit makes its journey to Osaka’s Namba Marui store, where it will be displayed from the 16th to the 25th of May 2025.

Entry to the exhibit will be priced at a reasonable 1,000 yen (approximately $6.73 in currency conversion). In an act of inclusivity, Bandai Namco has also made the merchandise and goods sales area accessible free of charge. The company has promised to release additional details about the exhibit and its goods as the date approaches.

Upon admission, attendees will be presented with a bonus in the form of two collectible postcards selected at random. This feature promises to be an exciting one, with the Tokyo exhibit offering eight unique types and the Osaka exhibit, five.

In addition to the anticipated art collection, the exhibit will also house original illustrations done by character designers Kosuke Fujishima and Mutsumi Inomata from the Tales of series. These works will serve as special attractions adding value to the exhibition. High-quality prints signed by these artists, under the 88Graph series, will also be available for purchase as part of the event.

The Tales of series has consistently captivated players, with its most recent remaster, Tales of Graces f Remastered, making its mark on the gaming community in January 2025. Speculation indicates the potential for Tales of the Abyss to be the next in the remastered series. This theory comes as Bandai Namco recently filed a trademark for this PS2 classic. While official confirmation remains pending, the anticipation is building among gaming enthusiasts.

To recap, those in Tokyo can look forward to viewing the exhibition from April 4-20, 2025, while those in Osaka can attend from May 16-25, 2025.
