Developer poncle is ready to debut a roguelite deckbuilder demo of their new installment, Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard, culled from the famed Vampire Survivors series. The release spotlights the platform Xbox Series and PC through Steam, and it’s dated for an unveiling on February 23rd, according to an official statement.

The development company complemented the announcement by launching the initial episode of a fresh video series titled “Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers.” This inaugural episode dissected the two crucial mechanics underpinning Vampire Crawlers:

The first mechanic is aptly termed as Turboturn. This unique setup eliminates unnecessary waiting times during turn-based combat sessions by smartly stacking and executing your ability commands with meticulous accuracy. This means actions in Vampire Crawlers are processed without needing to stop for animation completion before initiating the next move. As such, the player is allowed contradictory freedom to either meticulously plan their moves or dive headfirst into the disturbingly enticing disarray. This electrifying attribute is what morphs tactical combat into a mesmerizing experience imbued with speed, engagement, and appealing graphics.

The second mechanic dealing with card customization paves ways for limitless possibilities to play your cards. In essence, Gems allow the customization of cards with differing effects, ranging from the basics like raw damage multipliers to full-blown Weapon Evolution. It doesn’t matter whether you desire a simple surge in power or deeper strategic planning; the Gems system provides all the necessary tools for every player to create game-changing combinations.

The final version of Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard is scheduled for a broad launch through multiple platforms. These platforms include PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC on both Steam and Microsoft Store, as well as iOS and Android. The expected launch period is early or mid-2026. In the meantime, fans are encouraged to catch a glimpse of the gameplay by watching the new episode of “Let’s Explore Vampire Crawlers”.
