Upcoming Brigandine Abyss Launch for Major Gaming Platforms

In February of 2026, a novel addition to the Brigandine strategy games family, named Brigandine Abyss, was unveiled during the State of Play. Shortly after the conclusion of the program, it was made known by Happinet that this game would be made available in 2026 on various platforms including PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Western English releases of the game would be managed by NIS America.
Notably, Happinet’s Japanese press release fronts a roll call of the primary crew behind the forthcoming game. The game’s production has Masaru Saito at the helm, with Makoto Yamamoto of the Sengoku Basara series as Director. Scenario writing is being handled by Matsuno from the Sengoku Basara series and the composition is being done by Rei Kondoh, known for his contributions to Okami, Bayonetta, and Fire Emblem series. The design of the characters is credited to Junko Kawano, known for Suikoden and Eiyuden Chronicle, and Nijihayashi, known for Fire Emblem Heroes, Shadowverse, with the game’s supervision being handled by Masayuki Horikawa from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.
Brigandine Abyss’s reveal trailer was made available after the screenshots were presented. The game is going to be offered in various languages including Japanese, English, German, French, and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified).
It was revealed with much excitement by NIS America, Inc., that they had joined forces with Happinet to introduce Brigandine: Abyss, a new strategy RPG going to be available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

Whether you select Mission Mode or stick with the story, gameplay is divided into two phases. You gather your troops and resources during the Organization phase, followed by strategic battles during the Attack Phase! With the series’ traditional hexagonal-grid-based strategy gameplay at its core, Brigandine: Abyss offers players an exciting in-depth experience embarked upon strategic thinking, skill usage, elemental attributes considerations, and most importantly, the development of your armies.
