Following an anticipatory hint on social platforms, confirmation arrived from Gungho that a Golden Wings Collector’s Edition for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will indeed be launched. Set for sale through Planax, the price point for this exclusive version sits at a robust $274.99.
The latest edition will be made available across multiple popular platforms, including the Switch, Switch 2, PS5, and PC. Fans can secure their pre-orders anytime from now until the 8th of March, 2026. The majority of the components accompanying this collector’s edition are, perhaps unsurprisingly, typical of a release of this magnitude. Purchase includes a physical copy of the game, access to its digital season pass, and a Steelbook case to safeguard the physical media. Additional treats in the pack include a curated art book and a soundtrack CD featuring chosen tunes from the game.
The crowning feature of this edition, however, is the intricate model diorama that it houses. This interactive piece depicts a tense chase from the game’s plot, recreating a heart-racing scene between Liberl’s Arseille and Ouroboros’ Glorious.
This edition includes exclusive images, offering two factor-specific closer looks at the model diorama. However, fans should keep in mind the limited availability of this collector’s edition. Planax has emphasized that the window for securing an order lies strictly between February 24, 2026, and March 8, 2026. Outside this window, there will not be added copies made available for sale.
