NIS America has confirmed plans for the western release of Nippon Ichi Software’s ‘Kyouran Makaism’, soon to be recognized as ‘Disgaea Mayhem’. The game launch date is scheduled for summer 2026 and will be playable on platforms including PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and the awaited Nintendo Switch 2.

Alongside the digital release, a physical Limited Edition of ‘Disgaea Mayhem’ is available for pre-order, selling at $99.99. This special collection provides gamers with not just an exclusive copy of the game for either PlayStation 5 or the Nintendo Switch series, but also some enticing goodies. These include a Collector’s box that house an eye-pleasing ‘The Art of Mayhem’ artbook, a ‘Hellscape’ original soundtrack, N.A. and Tichelle acrylic stand, and a ‘The Flan Fanatic’ acrylic keychain.

‘Disgaea Mayhem’ was initially released in Japan just a month ago and received considerable acclaim. The story revolves around an experienced mercenary named N.A., who is called upon by Tichelle, the eminent overlord of the Superlative Netherworld. Tichelle entrusts N.A. with the responsibility of identifying and apprehending the thief who exploited the First Radiance Pudding made by Tisiel’s late father.

Throughout the gameplay, players can command N.A. to utilize seven distinctive weapons, including fists, swords, spears, axes, bows, guns, and staffs. Each weapon type presents varying attack ranges and actions, and can be deployed strategically against enemies. Along with unique attack techniques for each weapon, the game also includes longtime favorite Disgaea features such as game mechanics Reincarnation, the Chara World, Item World, and the Debate Assembly. The level cap of 9,999 offers an extended playing aspect, encouraging players to push the boundaries in their gaming adventure.
