Free Cars Revealed for Forza Horizon 6

Playground Games has outlined the next wave of free content coming to Forza Horizon 6 as part of Horizon Playlist Series 2. Running from June 18 through July 16, the new season set is themed around “Horizon Decades” and gives players a fresh set of reward cars to chase across four in-game seasons. In total, 10 vehicles have been confirmed for the event, with rewards tied to seasonal point milestones as well as overall series progress.

The Summer Season will feature two unlockable cars. Players who earn 20 points during Summer can add the 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf to their garage. Reaching 40 points during the same season unlocks the 1988 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV, a classic supercar that should be a major draw for collectors and longtime fans of retro performance machines.

In the Autumn Season, the reward lineup shifts to two more distinctive vehicles. At 20 points, players can unlock the 1998 TVR Cerbera Speed 12, a famously wild and aggressive British performance car. Those who push to 40 points in Autumn will receive the 1993 Schuppan 962CR, a rare road-going machine with deep racing roots and one of the more unusual additions in the playlist.

Winter brings a pair of performance trucks to the reward pool. Earning 20 points during the Winter Season grants the 2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10, a pickup known for its massive V10 power and straight-line speed. Players who reach 40 points in Winter can claim the 2003 Ford F-150 SVT, another high-performance truck that adds more variety to the seasonal rewards.

The Spring Season closes out the month-long series with two final seasonal prize cars. Players can unlock the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GT R by earning 20 points, while 40 points will secure the 2017 Saleen S7 LM. Both are strong headline rewards, especially for players who prefer modern high-speed track-focused machines.

Beyond the weekly seasonal unlocks, Series 2 also includes two cumulative reward cars tied to total progress across the full “Horizon Decades” event. Players who earn 80 points over the course of the entire series will unlock the 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau. Those who go even further and collect 160 total points will receive the 2018 Lotus Exige Cup 430. These long-term rewards should give dedicated players an extra incentive to stay active throughout all four weeks.

Not every vehicle in this lineup will be completely new to all players, however. Playground Games has confirmed that several of the reward cars have already appeared recently. The Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV, Schuppan 962CR, Ford F-150 SVT, and Saleen S7 were previously available during Series 1 as reward cars for specific events. That means some players may already own them, which could make parts of this reward list feel a little familiar. On the other hand, anyone who missed those earlier opportunities now has another chance to pick them up without having to wait for a much later rotation.

There is also reason to believe that the final list of incoming vehicles for Series 2 may end up being larger than the 10 cars currently confirmed. If the first playlist series is anything to go by, additional cars could appear through other in-game activities, special events, or limited-time rewards. While nothing beyond the announced lineup has been detailed yet, players may want to keep an eye on updates as the series unfolds.

Series 2 is not only about reward cars. The update will also introduce a new open-world Car Meet located at the Hokubu Time Attack Circuit. That addition should give players another social hub to explore, whether they want to show off their latest unlocks, compare builds, or simply spend time around other drivers in the shared world. New meet locations can help keep the map feeling active, and this one seems like a fitting match for a series focused on automotive history and variety.

Looking a little further ahead, Playground Games has also shared the theme for the next major playlist update. Series 3 will be titled “Italian Exotics,” suggesting a stronger focus on high-end performance cars from Italy. Alongside that series, the game will receive the Italian Passion Car Pack. That DLC pack will be included at no extra cost for Premium Edition owners, while other players will be able to purchase it separately.

Overall, Horizon Playlist Series 2 looks like a solid month of free content for Forza Horizon 6 players. The mix of classic rally icons, vintage supercars, rare homologation specials, performance trucks, and modern track weapons gives the lineup broad appeal. Even with a few repeat reward cars in the mix, there is still enough variety here to make the event worth following closely, especially for players aiming to complete their collections or earn the bigger series-wide prizes.
