My mind is blown right now, I don’t even know what to say. A mix of strategy and…controlling a giant rock, all while travelling through art history. I’m not sure if this is for PC, XBLA, and PSN, does “digital distribution” mean all platforms?
A rock-solid combination of deep strategy, rock-rolling action, and captivating art and music from throughout history!
Two castles stand opposed, bridged by an uneven, narrow pathway. One is yours, and you’re quite fond of it. See how the parapets catch the sunlight ever so stylishly? The other is your enemy’s; they’re a jerk, and their crappy crenellations are driving down your property values. Also, their castle sucks, justification enough to try crush it using an enormous rolling stone. Unfortunately, they’ll have a chance to plan and build up some security, doing everything they can to derail your razing rock. Get through their defenses and you’re one step closer to crushing their unsightly tower (see also: their hopes and dreams). But don’t take your turn for granite. Dungeon crawling RPG’s are awesome. Especially when you can choose a ninja as one of your characters. Or a buccaneer. The game currently has a September 21 release date in North America.
Full press release, below…
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey has everything I want in a Shin Megami Tensei game: demons, lots of demons. I can’t wait to negotiate with demons, only to use them to kill other demons.
Atlus has pusehd back the North American release of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey to March 23 (Nintendo announced it as March 10 yesterday). The good news is that each copy of the game will come with a soundtrack. I’m so confused, I don’t know if I should be mad or happy. Or both at the same time.
44 minute preview, from Giant Bomb. I wish there were more in-depth previews like this, it’s nice to have a ton of information about upcoming games all in one spot.
I like how he smells everything.
The boss battles in the game seem pretty epic.
Atlus’ Demon’s Souls for the PS3, out October 6 in the U.S., looks pretty interesting. The video shows of some details about the game, including character creation, some class details, and also shows a few boss characters look amazing.
Persona 3 will be coming to the PSP this year, with Persona 3 Portable. From the pictures, it looks like you’ll be able to choose between playing the game as a male or female. The game will be out in Japan on November 1. No other details are available currently, and no word on a U.S. release (but it’s Atlus, so I’m guessing it’ll make it’s way here soon).
