The good news is that North America gets Chrono Trigger DS on November 25th, two whole days before Japan gets it on the 27th.
The bad news is, in Japan, they get “CHRONO TRIGGER ORCHESTRA EXTRA SOUNDTRACKS” when pre-ordering the game. The CD contains two tracks, “Chrono Trigger Orchestral Version” and “Chrono Trigger Orchestral Medley.” We don’t get that.

While I won’t be purchasing this game because I do not have a D.S., America and Japan release information continues to annoy me. Great, America gets the game two days before Japan. Wow! Thats so awesome, minus the fact that as usual the U.S. release comes with nothing awesome. I understand that Japan as a whole is way more into video games, and frankly they do deserve extras with their games. But come on. What? Americans don’t want extras like a sweet soundtrack. Take back the release date and give us something cool with our games. Maybe if more releases offered extras in America kids would have a greater incentive to purchase video games.
Also I think U.S. games that do have extras need to give up the special requirement shit. Like getting soundtracks or accessories with pre orders. Fuck that. Just give us the extra stuff with no strings attached. I want to play the game above all else, so I am more inclined to get the game the day it is released instead of having to wait for it to ship to my apartment while everyone else gets to play the game. Due to this I miss out on awesome extras. Bullshit. This is mostly in reference to the Special Edition of Tales Of Vesperia.
