Paradox Interactive has announced Cities: Skylines 2, the much-anticipated sequel to its 2015 hit city-builder, during a live stream showcasing of upcoming titles. Developed by Finland-based Colossal Order, Cities: Skylines 2 allows players to build their municipalities from a small village to a bustling metropolis, complete with all the transport, economy, and customization options, as well as advanced modding capabilities. It will launch in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X.
In addition to the Cities: Skylines sequel, the live stream showcased the turn-based strategy game The Lamplighters League and the upcoming ‘next-generation life simulation game’ Life By You. The Lamplighters League involves managing a ragtag team of misfits fighting against an evil cabal. Life By You allows players to customize their character and explore an open world narrative adventure.
