Starting January 2, PlayStation Plus subscribers are set to enjoy several free Essential games, including A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West, and Nobody Saves the World, as reported by Sony Interactive Entertainment. A Plague Tale: Requiem is a stealth-focused sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence that sees Amicia and her young brother searching for a cure on a tropical island, while Evil West is a demon-slaying shooter game featuring a cowboy protagonist. In contrast, the Zelda-style dungeon crawler, Nobody Saves the World, by Drinkbox Studios, is praised for its strong storyline and balanced gameplay.

All these games can be played on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, and will be available for download until February 5, 2024. The PS Plus Essential games for December, which include Lego 2K Drive, PowerWash Simulator, and Sable, will still be accessible until January 1.

PlayStation Plus Essential, the lowest tier in Sony Interactive Entertainment’s subscription service, offers online multiplayer access, monthly free PS4 and PS5 titles, cloud storage, and PlayStation Store purchase discounts, with pricing options ranging from $9.99 monthly to $79.99 annually.
