Sabotage Studio announced that the physical edition of Sea of Stars will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox, and Switch on May 10 through their collaboration with iam8bit. The standard edition will cost $39.99 and will include a double-sided poster featuring art from Bryce Kho, available through iam8bit and select retailers, with pre-orders including a digital download of the game’s soundtrack.
Iam8bit will also release the Iam8bit Exclusive Edition due for Q2 2024 at a price of $44.99. The special edition includes a retro-inspired game manual, a collectible slipcase and poster showcasing original artwork, an oversized game map, a digital download of the game’s soundtrack, and also includes four sticker sheets. Starting today, pre-orders for the special edition are open at iam8bit.
Furthermore, a Sea of Stars vinyl soundtrack will be released by iam8bit in Q3 2024 at $42.99 with pre-orders currently available on their website. Meanwhile, Sea of Stars continues to be available in its digital format for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam. The developer also launched a new trailer titled “Accolades and Physical Edition Announce Trailer”.
