Nintendo has announced that the first Nintendo Direct of 2024 will be aired on February 21st at 6 am PT/9 am ET. This practice is consistent with previous years, such as in 2023, when the first of these presentations was streamed on February 8. This Partner Showcase, expected to focus on third-party titles, will be available via YouTube and discuss various upcoming Switch games slated for release during the first half of 2024.
The preceding Nintendo Direct was held in September 2023, spotlighting games due to be released in late 2023 and a selection of 2024’s offerings, including the final Splatoon 3 DLC and the last Pokemon Scarlet and Violet add-on. An Indie World presentation in November 2023 also reviewed an array of indie games planned for release by the close of 2023.
