Picross S+ is set to release on the Nintendo Switch on February 29, with a price tag of $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99, as announced by Jupiter Corporation. Featuring popular challenges of the previously 3DS-exclusive Picross e series, the game offers a total of 300 Picross and Mega Picross puzzles, with more puzzles available for purchase via downloadable content, boosting the potential total to 1,350 Picross and Mega Picross, and 565 Clip Picross puzzles.
Crucially, Micross puzzles, rebranded as Clip Picross, also make a comeback, and are part of the DLC for Picross e2 through e9. Clip Picross comprises a variety of arranged Micross puzzles, giving players a fresh new challenge to solve.
Upon purchasing the DLC, players can also look forward to bonus puzzles unlocking in their Gift Box, featuring 60 Picross and Mega Picross puzzles, and 10 Color Picross puzzles. These unlocked puzzles are themed around the motifs of each game in the series.
