Uniqlo has partnered with Square Enix to launch a new line of Final Fantasy t-shirts influenced by the Pixel Remasters, Final Fantasy XIV, and Final Fantasy XVI. Retailing at 1,500 yen (approximately $9.73), the seven unique t-shirt designs, including goblin imagery from the original game, Yoshitaka Amano’s original designs for Moogle, and the motifs of Terra and Mog from FFVI, are slated for release in Japan by late June 2024, with no confirmed international release yet.

In addition to the Pixel Remaster designs, the line includes two shirts based on FFXIV, one featuring Warrior of Light, and the other showcasing a chocobo Alpha, Fat Cat, and Moogle. FFXVI-inspired designs comprise the remaining two shirts. One illustrates Torgal howling at the moon with a corresponding caption, and the other highlights all the Eikons in the main game.

This collaboration is an extension of Uniqlo’s history of fusing fashion with prominent game and anime franchises. Alongside Final Fantasy, the company’s recent Japan releases include collections inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Detective Conan anime series, and Sanrio. The new line of Final Fantasy-themed t-shirts will be available late June 2024.
