Square-Enix has officially announced the release date for the highly anticipated Visions of Mana game, following its reveal at the 2023 Game Awards. The game, a part of the classic action-RPG series, is set to debut on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 29. New features of the game, highlighted in the latest gameplay trailer, include a look at a semi-open field for players to explore, fast-paced multi-dimensional combat, and visually stunning landscapes.
Visions of Mana introduces players to the character Val, a ‘soul guard’ who embarks on an adventure to revitalise the magical Tree of Mana with his childhood friend. Square-Enix promises “near-seamless transitions” between captivating locations and the scope for players to uncover the world within the game.
Additionally, Square-Enix has divulged details on the Visions of Mana Collector’s edition, which is currently available for preorder along with the standard edition on all designated platforms. Both editions come with an exclusive in-game costume and useful items for those who preorder ahead of the launch. Anna also suggests grabbing the Collection of Mana, and other series editions such as the Trials of Mana in 3D and the HD remastered Legend of Mana, all available from various online outlets.
