Square Enix has announced new acrylic dioramas inspired by all six titles from the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, now available for pre-order on its Japanese e-Store. Each diorama showcases pixel-based characters and scenes reminiscent of various gameplay moments and cutscenes from the Japanese releases. Dioramas for Final Fantasy III, IV, and VI feature cutscenes, while those for the first and fifth games display battle scenes. The diorama for Final Fantasy II is set around a unique gameplay scene where players were tasked with memorizing a password. They’ll all be priced at 3,300 yen (approximately $20.69) and will release simultaneously on October 19, 2024.
In recent years, Square Enix has released merchandise centered around the first six mainline Final Fantasy entries, including music boxes in 2022, now branching out with Uniqlo for T-shirt collaborations featuring some of the pixel-era games, globally available during Summer 2024.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Cubic Memory dioramas, part of Square Enix’s continued celebration of the long-standing franchise, will be available in Japan, finally launching on October 19, 2024.
