Sony has announced the introduction of a new Stellar Blade Summer Update set to roll out on July 25, 2024, via an official PlayStation social media post. This update adds new outfits, as well as a new location – the Great Desert Oasis. The announcement includes a screenshot of a character, Eve, fishing at this new location in a Stellar Blade swimsuit, one of the newly added outfits. Simultaneously, Shift Up released a brief update about the Stellar Blade Photo Mode, hinting that this feature might be delayed.
Sony shared an image of the game’s lead character, Eve, in another swimsuit, supposedly taken with the new photo mode feature. The Stellar Blade Summer Update follows the last update for the game which was on May 24, 2024. This previous update incorporated a Boss Challenge mode and extra costumes for Eve, one of which was an exclusive Neurolink suit only obtainable by completing the Boss Challenge.
Stellar Blade is immediately available on PlayStation 5, with the summer update set to launch on July 25, 2024. The continued support for the game through these updates shows Sony’s dedication to maintaining its player base’s interest by continually enhancing gaming experiences.
