Nintendo is set to add Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team to Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online on August 9. In the game, you are unexpectedly thrust into a world where you become a Pokemon, capable of communicating with other Pokemon species. You and a partner Pokemon you select embark on various rescue missions in a world suffering from diverse natural calamities, with your ultimate purpose and destiny in this Pokemon world to be unraveled.

As a player, your experience begins with a personality quiz that decides your Pokemon character from an array of options such as Pikachu, Eevee, Charmander, Totodile, and Chikorita, among others. Following this, you will then choose your partner Pokemon, and dive into a Pokemon-filled universe featuring a plethora of dungeons for you to investigate. In this strategic, turn-based game, you’ll assemble your rescue team and take on changing, mysterious dungeons.

This engaging game was originally playable on the Game Boy Advance system, but with the upcoming update, players can now enjoy it on Nintendo Switch Online. Besides this addition, the August 2024 game updates for Game Boy Advance – Nintendo Switch Online will also be available for Japanese players.
